Good thread. Was thinking a couple of days ago that it's time for one of these threads. Here it's venison hamburger cooked on the stove in the dutch oven. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, 1/3 cup of soy sauce and half a cup of beer. Cook that up good then start the rice cooker and make about 2 1/2 cups of jasmin rice. When the meat is done add a couple of cups of frozen corn, green beans and brussles sprouts. Fold the rice into the mix when it's all done. Makes for home made fried rice tonight and a couple of lunches this week. Top it off with half a can of canned apricots and think of Ernest Hemingway as you eat them.
