The best and most friendly way is to insert a URL link.
Screen captures are very inefficient and are going to infuriate the folks on dialup. Also, when you do so you're in essence stealing content from the original page owner without attribution. Also, you can't cut and paste text out of a screen capture. (This last problem infuriates me at work, all the time people will send me lists of part numbers that they copied and pasted from Excel, not knowing that by default the information gets pasted into their message as a useless bitmap.)
In some cases you can view the HTML source of the web page and copy that. (I've found, for example, that you can't copy text from snopes.com unless you view the page source.) This is considered to be in bad form because not only are you taking the content without attribution, you're making the original owner serve up the images for the stolen content.
