It's interesting to read how other folks feel about doing the firewood thing. I find enjoyment in the whole scope of "doing firewood". I fell the tree, haul it home in lengths I can handle, cut it to stove lengths with the buzzsaw, split it with the Huskee, and throw it into the woodshed. When ready to burn, I load up a small trailer of wood, haul it to the patio, then carry it into the house with a "carrier". And it's also my job to do the firemaking thing. All this so that I don't have to do exercises to keep me limber---and I'm crowding 80-----
