I posted a copy a someone's ad last week about "free beavers." Kind of amusing. A few here thought it had more "sinister" meaning.
Now there's a new one this morning with better explanation. Here in central New York near the Susquehanna River.

(Craig's List community, This is an ad for a free beaver. Not a pet, not a joke. This critter has been causing damage to many places on my property and neighborhood. I have had the county and NYSEG out to fix the things that have been damaged by this animal. I do not trap. After a call with the DEC I was giving advice to have it trapped, and removed, and if I could not have it taken care of on my own that I could call back and they could send someone that I would hire to do it. Beaver pelts do sell, and I am not sure of the value. This is not a joke, my ad is cleave and funny, but in the end this is a serious posting.
