I deliver Masonry Products around the greater Portland area. All the construction sites have to have a "silt fence" to keep mud from getting to the streams. We have to be real careful to not bring mud onto the street in our tires. I have had the county guys sit there and watch me. They are real eager to write tickets. I even had to sweep up someone else s mess, because they wanted it cleaned up and I was the one there when they got there (NO MUD IN MY TIRES). It was sweep and shovel or get a ticket. Tim in OR
