I used to smear grease on my plow moldboards too but never fails sometime through winter I will walk by plow and get some on coveralls. Then when I crawl into pickup I get it on edge of cushion. Then when wife uses pu she gets it on her white pants and that's when my trouble really begins. So now I just paint them at the end of season. I used to use that soft paint made for that but when that was gone I just started using any old paint. Works the same. Rubs off next year just fine in a few feet of plowing.
