I posted these pictures a little while back, not a machine shed but some ideas. You have to decide if you want your shed to be able to disassemble for easier storage. This wood corncrib has hooks in the corners so it knocks down. Since your son will be playing with the shed it has to be strong. I made a barn with a hinged roof out of an old feed box and it would be plenty strong to to be played with. Will see if I can find a picture of it.
