I can't hear it being played without tears coming to my eyes. I have seen too many good men laid to rest to this sound.
I feel the men at Arlington play it as well as anyone in the world. They put real feelings into it. I hope I can visit that final resting place some day but so far the memories are too strong.
I did visit the Vietnam Wall in DC this summer. went in the middle of the night. I needed to do it with just me and God. He will have the final judgment on my actions and life. I can only hope for forgiveness.
