Jde Thanks .Now I've got the picture. What a elluva note when chickens can run loose (I'de get em all rounded up and have one heck of a barbacue, all invited EXCEPT TOWN elders) think on how that reasoning would go over before tax time lol.Wondering just who does the fools think feeds this country?, Yuppies who dresses in their finery and has lunch on their lawns sure wouldn't like the smell of road applesause on their beamer tires. As for Fema, look a N.O.disaster. Blind leading the blind. What a waste of money poured down many of different rat holes. I'm of the same opimion as you ,when it comes to people building in a flood plane. Every so often(more then I like) our insurance Carrier tries to increase our coverage to cover people who make claims against em for flood plain damage in other states as well as ours. Always one teriffic fight with threats comming from us to change Insurance Companies. So far, notta. We have NO MORGAGE on our place so actually we could tell em to GO POUND SAND and take what ever chances that might occure from a fire ,wind storm rain -hail etc. Ofcourse we would have to pay for fire dept call, cleanup and any thing else attached to the damage.Glad you took on the establishment,on behalf of the other person. Common sence prevails sometimes and makes em look like the misers they truly are.LOcal government is mostly INTRUSION into peoples life style, and like I said, Most want to rule the world ,one inch at a time, and they will if no objection comes from the ballot box. Gotta stand up sometimes folks. Thanks again .warmest regards LOU.

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
