2007 in Ohio, new house on an old farmstead. New well and raised bed septic. $10,000 a piece.
Well price included the well, pump, trenched to the house, pressure tank and wired, 120' deep hole.
Septic included two tanks, raised bed, all excavating from the house to the final grade of the mound.
Both systems were ready for the plumber inside the house.
Just for the record, we did 90% of the work on the house ourselves, and were the general contractor for the parts we didn't do. The only real headache we had was dealing with the health dept over the well and septic. It seems like their mission in life is just making you miserable at every step of the way.
