I have a chance to buy a Dakon stalk chopper, it is 1000 rpm pto I don't have a tractor with 1000 pto ( maybe next yeat ) can they be changed over to 540?? example my JD 96 combine the gears in the gear box are fliped, Vermer bailer flip the gear box, how good of a job would it do if I just ran it at 540 ??
