As far as taking it off... the CAV pump, on my MF35 the pump and the tractor have a 'master tooth' on the gears- the pump and timing gear are splined into each other with the master key making it impossible to make a mistake. I hope yours is like that. Got to have a manual on the subject... now that I rebuilt the engine AND the injector pump myself, I was led to U tube.... where there are dozens of home made videos of people doing what I just finished. so check that out too. I got my injector kit from grigg's lawn and garden in ... Gulfport? Miss.
