Old stallion (been a gelding for a couple months now) got out yesterday when I was moving a water tank thru the gate. Usually just stands there or eats a little waiting on me to put him back. Got thru with the tractor and went to get him, his head went up and he looked across the woods in the direction of the mares, whinnied and was gone. Figured I knew where to find him and was just gonna take the tank home, grab the car and go get him...... Got thru the woods to the edge of town and he was standing by the fence of a little girl's back yard waitingon his goodies.... Her dad says he takes her everyday to the pasture about the same time and he is standing there waiting on her. She's in a wheelchair and a little slow but he says she really lights up when he's around. Let her give him something herself and let her set on him for a little bit. Made her day.... 2 days ago, he almost killed a dog that got in the pasture. Go figger....
