Took 650 pics in Finland and they all turned out really well. Don't know anything about the model on Ebay but if it's like ours, you'll like it. We paid just a hair more than $1200 three years ago. This pic was taken in about five seconds. I was walking along in the forest, saw the flower, stopped, pointed, zoomed, shot and went on. The camera does all of the fancy adjusting for you. Jim
