Most Cummins engines I've seen have had a CPL number and information tag found on the left hand side on the timing cover. They also generally have a serial number stamped just below the block deck, often towards the rear of the engine... possibly hidden under a fuel line. I'm not familiar with that engine; mostly just N/855 and L10's.
