When Cletrac built it the color was a yellowish orange but when Avery took over they went to red. It was just like now when one company buys an implement from anouther company and has their name put on it , they do so because it is cheaper than designing and building their own. After Avery took over they probably built at least a hundred tractors for every one Cletrac had built.
