Military now is nothing like it was when you old folks were in... Nothing is the same as it was (pick a number) years ago. It's called progress.
Folks don't get kicked out for hotplates or getting drunk (when off duty), they get kicked out for being idiots and are too ashamed to admit it (or too stupid to realize it)......
