The first 6 cyl were continental flat heads. The true 3 wheel uni's had V4 moline side valvers. Later on they had a silage special, that had a 401 V6 GMC. We demonstrated one of these with a combine on it. would motor around a 403 IHC. It had dual straight pipes coming out the back. The dealer where I worked sold 3 or 4 uni's a year. Mostly with combines on them. A few corn shellers, 2 balers. a couple silage choppers. and earlier corn pickers. But in my time was using corn shellers and combines. In their time the corn head knew no equal in down corn. The first airconditioned cab I saw was on a Uni-Harvestor. back in the fifties. There was probably 20 people standing around watching it cut wheat. Everybody had to get in and shut the door and feel the cold. It was aw sum top of the line. LOL Vic
