Your tractor is a little low in hp - not 45, that would be a 900 series, you're closer to 30? But hp isn't the only thing with a blower.

Reverse speed is _the_ important thing. If you had a real slow reverse, it could work out. But - the Ford 100 series only have 1 reverse, and kinda fast. Not so good.

Then, you lack live pto, which makes snow blowing kinda miserable.

One can blow snow with 1 out of the above 3 - extra hp, real slow reverse, live pto.

You are lacking in all 3.

It will work on certain snow falls and sure beat a shovel, but in the heavy drifts, you are going to have a miserable time.

I've got a 7 foot blower rated at 45 hp, and have run it with my 85hp 7700 with 4 reverse speeds; with my 960 about 45hp with one reverse; and with my 1720 with 27 hp and 3 reverse speeds.

The 7700 is too big, too much hp, spend a lot of time waiting for the snow pile to go away be4 backing up again. The cab is a big plus tho! :) Go through some shear bolts & tweak the frame a bit tho from all that hp....

The 1720 is about the best machine, it is slightly underpowered so I don't wreck the blower, it just bogs down if I get too much snow - wait a bit for it to clear.

The 960 would be the right size really, but the single reverse speed makes it hard to use, allways pushing the clutch and waiting for the snow to clear, too fast in reverse. It is the worst wexperience with the blower. Does beat a shovel tho. If it were a 950 without live pto, I donno if I'd even try in the Minnesota drifts.
