if you are going to bale very much go with a little extra hp what ever you buy,most people used 30 to 45 hp tractors to pull a baler with when i was growing up one man used a D-10 ac every time the baler cut the tractor would surge no telling how much he baled thru the years as a custom baler none were very high speed until a neighbor bought a 666 diesel best i remember with mf baler it was amazing to see him bale beforehand we could stay right along with the baler loading it until we got a load not with him he'd run off and leave us you didn't see that one surge every time the baler stroked either
