A lot of that big stuff can be worth more as scrap now unfortunately. Watched an old D-8 go for 7500$ at auction. It was exact price the yard was paying for that weight. The owner was sitting on the machine while it was auctioned, he told me he advertised it for months in a heavy equipment seller at 6500$ and no one touched it.
