In 1946 my dad bought a new Oliver 60 and a Woods Brother single row picker and said your going to pay for it. YEH I did on the day befor Christmas in a blizzard. Could not shut the picker down or the chains would freeze and make the slip clutches chatter, Wore layered clothing. Ended up with a pair of coveralls and a pair of five buckle overshoes,Made sure you did not have any loose ends to get caught in moving parts. Graydon
