The shift solenoids are inside the tranny. You'll have to pull the pan to change them. Did Autozone tell you which solenoid, because there will be at least 3 maybe four solenoids that control the shifting. If you pull the pan, look for large chunks, small stuff is normal wear. One more suggestion is do not have the tranny flushed because you will be rebuilding the tranny in a short period of time.
