It is going to depend on what you mean by "using locally" and you�re going to have to talk to your insurance co to find out. Most homeowner policies will cover it if it is being used as a "lawn mower" at the time of loss. Just driving down the road, no coverage. Mine is covered no matter what I am doing with it under a farm policy. And do not skimp on the details with the insurance co. If you tell them just mowing grass and have an accident pulling a hay wagon ride (free or fee) they may not cover you.
