There are usually three outputs, all single acting. One is delayed slightly from the other two; it's used when you have a cultivator so the sides can lift first, then the rear.
It was designed have a line connected from an output to a single acting cylinder, the oil goes in to raise the implement and gravity lowers it and forces the oil back into the lift-all through the same line.
If you have a double acting cylinder you need to either vent the end you don't need or run a line from it back the top of reservoir (not to one of the outlets!).
