Nice isn't it, this time of year and spring before the "Bennies" show up. More quiet, and the local establishments are not packed to the gills!
I used to live just north in Manasquan, on 1st Ave. by the ocean, it was nice when the weather was good. Not so nice when the weather was bad, ocean was angry, threatening to spill over, and they evacuated us. That and power lines down in the snow, boy that ocean gets angry at times.
I did like it there, just the commute to work was a bit far. I used to fish over by the Point Pleasant inlet, or is it Manasquan inlet. Was great in the summer, over in Brielle, they have those charter boats, mostly for fluke.
