I'll never forget that old bat.........I came along a few years later but we all (older brothers and sister and several aunts/uncles) had the same busdriver, and some schoolteachers. I got on the bus the first day of school in 4th grade (folks had moved away and the 3 older kids went to different schools later and I ent thru 3rd grade at a different school).... driver made a kid move and set me on the frt seat, homeroom teacher (the old bat) had me a desk right in frt of her and escorted me to each class for my 1st day......
