Depends on a number of things. If it has an automatic maybe you can maybe not. If it has an automatic with a transfer case that has neutral yes you can pull it by putting it in neutral but if it has an automatic and it has no neutral in the transfer case NO you can not. If it has a standard transmission you can tow it by just putting it in neutral. So with the little info you give hard to be sure. Of course you can always drop the drive shafts and be safe
