Where I come from what Cribs are left standing held about 4-5k bushel of ear corn per side with large overhead bins. Most have been converted to hold shelled ,dryed corn. However My [both sides] grandparents in Kentucky had cribs such as these. They planted about 10-15 acres of corn each.Nice of you to post these pictures. I have 2 questions,what happens when that tall door is opened? And how did they ,given the corn to roof distance, level out that crib so level. There does not appear much room on top the pile.Did some one lay on their belly to do that.Is there a load door in the roof?
