Remington sells the 870 pump 12gage. $300 or so. Slug barrel is extra. Mossberg sells the 835 ulti-mag, slug barrel is extra. Also about $300.
If you really want a nice rifle there are thousands of used guns at pawn shops, and gun stores. You can get a nice Marlin or Winchester rifle .30-30 caliber for under $300 usually. Go to www.gunbroker.com and browse around. I go on this site everyday.
