I guess you mean a pull type machine. I've never seen one either, although a guy I was with the other day mistook the three snouts on a two row picker to think it was a three row machine.
Four row self propelled machines were real common in our area (Southern Illinois), especially around the time farmers were switching from pull type to self propelled. Late 50's - mid 60's?? Some of the hill farmers still use four row machines.
