first, I would probably replace the dog--seems like he is the one that led his new buddy into the house. second i would probably have had a little more sense than to try bear herding in my house---front door for me. If you are determined to shoot the bear, your home doesn't seem like the best place for it---a mad bear is something a smart man does not want to be caught in a corner with.
