In the case of the duramax, we had borrowed the truck, 4 of us in it, pulling 4 snowmobiles.. 2 miles from our exit.. There we sat.. We dropped from 3/8 to hardly any fuel in about 1 mile (of course, just past an exit..) made it about another mile before we ran out of fuel.
Called my uncle.. he says "Huh, never noticed that before!" LOL.. Well, imagine that..
If we borrow the truck, we now make sure it's full when we leave here, check odometer, and take 5 gallons with us, just in case.. Can't be too careful, right?? LOL
