These need to have resistor plug wires or they will fail. We installed on our 3020 around 20 years ago. It failed shortly thereafter. Pertronix warrantied the module and told us to replace wires with resistor wires. We did and have not had any problem since. Use it for heavy work as well as light. Changed plugs twice in 20 years. Big change from before.
