I have a 30x40 with 12' ceilings. I used (9) of the double bulb 8' high output "cold start" lights from Lowes. Bright as heck in there. Even with temperatures near 0 the lights instantly come on. Spend the extra $30 bucks or so and get these you won't regret it.
