I don"t have a vehicle newer than 12 years old so I"m not up on the new tech. It just seem like there must be a power supply wire at the unit you could sever and put a switch on. I seem to remember reading a post here a while back about a man that couldn"t talk the dealer into disconnecting the OnStar unit and going across the street to buy a dodge. I think I would rather park the chev a mile from where I didn"t want someone to know where I was going and walk rather than drive another Dodge. You walk anyway.
