I hate not being able to see so when we bought the place, I went to the local BB store and bought floescent fixtures that were on sale. Single tube 1 meter long (36 watt?) fixtures replaced every lightbulb fixture. Use a lot less electricity and see everything. I got some chopstick specials for 3 bucks complete and they've been in place 10+ years. Only problem I had was breaking a tube with a long board. New tube cost more than another assembly so bought the whole thing and have a spare....
