You can't get a better explanation than that. I was looking at the tractor to buy, thinking I may have to do a little work to get her in shape. Sounds like there is a good possibility that transmission and differential are not being lubed. Think I'll move on and keep looking. Thanks so much for all that info and saving me from a possible disaster.
