Cake and beer reminds me of a story dad told. Back during the war he was picking corn for a farmer on a cold November day.(remember the 'Old A'?) He was chilled to the bone when the farmer brought out lunch. The farmer said his wife had gone to town and all he could find for lunch was some cake and she wasn't there to make coffee so he brought cold beer instead. So dad graciously choked it down but it sure didn't warm him up. Jim
