cheaper than a rebuild.. try filters for 5 ton military trucks converted to fire department use, we change paper filters on our one tons every use. have you cleaned the old wire mesh in a bucket of solvent? then apply whatever motor oil to the mesh and place back in the canister by wrapping it over a tube of caulk and shoving it back in. it is designed to be reused.
