A Border Collie is the smartest dog Ive had over the years.We watched Border Collies working sheep,The handler always says the Border Collie is not a good pet.He is dead wrong.My first Border Collie did not like to ride in the truck.My second dog Gus loves to ride.He knows the word ride and truck.He likes tv when dogs are shown and can show you when he wants the tv turned on.He rings a small bell hanging by the kitchen door when he has to go out.He comes to me and barks when his water bowl is empty.He is a very active dog but spends time lying on his back on the couch fast asleep.
