I prefer '80's rock myself (I'm 38), and some of the '60's rock. I don't think the music has much to do with attracting people or turning them off to the shows. I think the biggest thing is how few are exposed to tractors, first-hand. I'd bet the vast majority on this board grew up with their Dad, uncle, or grandfather running a farm. That just isn't the case with the younger generations. There just aren't as many farms or farmers. I feel very fortunate that I was able to grow up right across the road from my Grandfather's farm, which I now own and run... and where I am raising my family. Both my boys show a definite interest in tractors (and combines). Grace is only 4 months, so it's a little early to say with her yet. :) More variety in music and/or competitions wouldn't hurt...but I don't think it will make a huge difference.
