Thanks for your reponses. I didn"t know about the 260 engine being standard in the LP models. I wonder why that was? I know this old tractor will get down and pull like crazy. My Dad farmed with it back in the sixties. He said it was the most economical tractor he ever had. Back in the mid 60s when they would have price wars on fuel during harvest time he could get LP for .06 a gallon. This tractor burned 3% an hour which equaled about 3 gallons. That calulates to about .18 and hour to operate. Try that now days..
