Another sad part is how high the freight is to get hay hauled into Texas from out of state. I've got a load coming from Missouri that the freight company keeps raising the price. Right now just the freight is $42 per 4X5 ft bale and this on a back haul. If I sent a truck from here it would be $62 per bale.
