allan Do you really Think Rain Water caused the Problem with the Head Gasket ? , i always considered rain water to b e harmlessfor daily runners . but i dunno ,, .about 10 yrs back old Massey 300 gasser had a freak summer thunderstorm fill up the nearly horizontal exhaust, cept combine was on a hillside angle ,, thouht battery was dead and rolled over hill dumped the clutch ,WATER shot outthe pipe , MISSING terrrible , new plugs did not help , found bent pushrods , straitened them still had a miss and saw water in oil at end of day .. HEAD ASKET /valve rindin Time ,, She Run great after that... you guys help me get thru a lot of trying times ,, i look at what you all go thru, and realize my problem is small and i can beat it on my own with info gleaned here ,,.. then there is the fella that does sumthin stupid that makes me laugh and i am finally able convince my self, At Least ,in Spite of Myself , i am not as dumb as some people .. LOL
