3116 should be fine. As Gene said, any plug can foul under some conditions. Don't let it idle very long. Better to shut it off and start asd needed. Try to keep it as hot as possible. If you show it much, this csn be hard. An occasional workout on a good load for an hour or so will do wonders too. I seldom have fouling problems on tractors that get worked, but ones that are used on light loads in the winter(hauling wood, etc.) cause some problems. Still 3116 is about as good as you can get.
