that is just the float part of the fuel pump going bad. the only problem is that it is made to the pump and you have to replace the pump to fix it. around here they sell for around 400. it doesnt mean the pump is bad just the float part that works the guage is bad. if you dont have a problem with the guage how it works i would drive it till the fule pump starts acting up unless you want to spend the money.
