I told my kid the 1st choice is to avoid the fight. 2nd choice is to win the fight and don't leave any tracks to trace it back to yourself. 3rd choice was to loose and risk the hospital or morgue. I've spent more time in the Principal's office with that kid than I did myself when in school. My boy gets into more trouble for winning the fight than the other kid does for starting it. Good thing is however the number of fights have dwindled after a few bullies got thrashed.
