I am a volunteer FF. Some people have no clue and probably never will. more are started from carelessness or sparking brakes and catalytic convertors as well. Recently the biggest cause we have had is damage to highwires from wind causing sparks and welding without appropriate precautions. hope things get better down there, we've been busy fighting the fire in the wichita mountain reserve, helicopters bulldozers and the fellows from the forestry service have helped. no loss of homes so far, but was very intense fire.
