Mike, Drop the tranny pan and R-&-R the tranny filter! If you hadn't had it serviced in a while or since rebuild. Here in Texas, On GMs we more times than not we cut loose the tranny from the tranny cooler in the radiator and put a big Aux Cooler in front of the radiator to get rid if heat better, since heat is the enemy of all trannys Most especially the R700s Hope this helps!
